Cinematic Titanic

We saw Joel Hodgson and the crew at the Strand Capital downtown York on Friday night.  It was pretty awesome.  They did about 30-40 minutes of warm-up, led by "Gruber", of the unforgettable "Higgins Boys and Gruber" show and then riffed on the movie "Rattlers" from 1976.  The jokes were fast and furious and it was a riot.

AD&D reprints

Wizards of the Coast are re-printing the first edition AD&D books for a special release in April.  They are using some of the money to support the building of a Gary Gygax memorial statue.

Maybe that's a good sign that 5th edition will be a little less 4th editiony, anyway, it's a nice gesture.
