Cinematic Titanic
We saw Joel Hodgson and the crew at the Strand Capital downtown York on Friday night. It was pretty awesome. They did about 30-40 minutes of warm-up, led by "Gruber", of the unforgettable "Higgins Boys and Gruber" show and then riffed on the movie "Rattlers" from 1976. The jokes were fast and furious and it was a riot.

A fantastic time was had by all. Except the lady next to me who was terrified by snakes, and ended up jumping or yelping every time one came on screen.
ReplyDeleteI must say I was rather impressed by the strand, for the most part. The seats were rather cramped, and rather close together. But the parking was fairly cheap and convenient, the theater itself was gorgeous, and even the concession stand wasn't outrageously expensive.
