Now it's positively done

I finished the Gear Book, and have committed to the final version. So far as to say, I took it to Office Max and had three copies printed out for use at the table.

    I was looking at the custom classes and noticed that everyone at level 1 has a 10+ thac0. Is that right? Or should you slay the proof-reader?

    That is correct. Everyone has a thac0 of 10+ at first level.
    Of course in ACKS, AC-0 means no armor (=old school AC 9 or 10).
    All the PC classes start at 10+ to hit no armor.
