It seems that next week, the players priorities are:
1) Getting the fudge off of Heroni
2) Finding the dirty bastard who sent you to Heroni
3) Finding the dirty bastards who currently have the Festivus
4) Seeing if Dorkon can be revived (probably Rhylanor is the closest place with an adequate hospital)
5) Finding the parts needed to fix the totally awesome Death Ranger
6) overhauling the weaponry in the Death Ranger locker
7) Informing the finance company that the Festivus was stolen (not a problem if Dorkon stays dead)
8) Avoiding prosecution for murdering a starport administrator and hijacking the beat-up free trader.
Besides #1, I don't know in what order you consider these to be important.
6 followed by 5 are the most important. If we get the good weapons and armor operational, then we can 'obtain' the parts we need for the ship more easily. Then we can take care of getting off the planet.
ReplyDeleteLike you said, taking care of number 7 only matters if we get Dorkon revived (and at this point, it's entirely possible he might not survive the icey trip, let alone the operation).
I think we'd all like to find the dirty bastard that sent us there to start with, but finding the guys who have the festivus is mostly important to Dorkon, though I suspect none of us would shed too many tears killing them too.
Avoiding prosecution might be a little tricky. If we can get the ship running, I have a nifty plan to cover our tracks, but that plan is hinging on us leaving no witnesses and being able to get the fudge off the planet in a timely manner.
If we kill everyone at the starport, no one will know what happened.
ReplyDeleteYeah, we really should just kill everybody at the starport, including those wuss security guys (though it's cool to have a few polish mine sweepers around). We might also think about heading to a few of the mining outposts as well, maybe they'll have somebody or something that we can use there
ReplyDeleteYou know, something else that just occurred to me. We should also sweep up all those bits and pieces from all those robots that fell apart for us too. Even 30 years old decayed, I'm betting that stuff will go for a healthy amount. Too bad we don't have an overly skilled engineer to futz around and put that stuff back together for our use.
